 okay from experience they are a laugh, but if you really don't want to go just ask him if its okay if you don't, is it only because its laser tag? or something else?

 Have you tried it? I think that before you say no, reconsider and try it just once. Then tell him immediately afterwards if you thought it was lame, in private. At least you gave it a shot, LOL!. Being a partner sometimes means stretching yourself a bit. I think that there isn't much risk here for harming yourself and it's not really pushing any moral boundaries, but I suppose it could be if you are a pacifist. Sometimes you have to go along to get along. The nice thing is that he included you in a family outing, and just on that basis alone, you should rise above your embarrassment and attend with your boyfriend, without complaining in front of everyone. Who knows, you might actually enjoy yourself once you get into it. If not, aim at your boyfriend or his brother!!!!!!!!!
