A female United Kingdom age 16-17, Hope_123 writes:

Wouldn't it be weird..

If you knew..

About all the things..

I could never say to you..

It's impossible for me..

To see you everyday..

When I know that I feel things..

Which I cannot say.

So I think it would be weird..

If you knew..

The things that I felt..

Right out of the blue.

Part of me thinks that I should tell you..

When the other screams NO!..

But then why would I tell you..

If I knew it weren't so.

So I write this poem..

Because I don't know how else..

To tell you how I feel..

Or express myself.

There are 3 simple words I want to say..

But hell, if I said them..

You wouldn't half run away!..

So if someone told me how to stop feeling these things..

I tell you that I gladly would..

But whenever I see you a little bell rings..

And even though it does me no good..

I can't stop how I feel..

As I know that it's real.

So to finish off I guess I should say..

I'm so sorry for telling you this..

But there was no other way..

Please don't be freaked out..

And please don't go..

It's been difficult to say this..

But I thought you should know!

Very Sweet poem, millions of all ages and sexes feel like this. But before going for it, analyze the situation. Is the other person already in a relation, is there a realistic hope it may work out? poetry can be therapeutic, get it all out and get on with it, or it can be appropriately a way to prechannel what we should be saying. Assuming you are both single go for it!
