Might want to talk to your parents and go see a doctor. Might be something medically.

Oh and one more thing. This is for when you turn 21. Alcoholic beverages are a huge factor, try to stay away from them before bedtime.

I'm 31 years old and I have to deal with the same thing my entire life. It was really bad as a kid. I had very few friends that were never very close and never spent the night at anyone's house because I was so embarrassed. As I got older it happened less often and now happens about 2-3 times a year. I dream I go, wake up and I've went.

Obvious tips you probably already know are to use a rubber pad on the mattress, don't drink 2 hours before bed and go to the restroom before you fall asleep. Also it helps if you sleep shorter time frames (shorter REM) like setting your alarm clock to go off in the middle of the night and force yourself to go to the bathroom.

Thanks deejuliet for the advice on the alarm, I've never heard of this before. Wonder when they came out with it. I will have to go test one out. The only problem I see is that once I start peeing, It is very difficult for me to stop.

Amazingly, you can train yourself to ask yourself, "Am I dreaming? while you're in a dream. Put signs saying, "Am I dreaming?" in your real bathroom and around your real house. Keep asking yourself if you're dreaming while you're awake, especially while you're in the bathroom. After awhile you may start to ask yourself in your dream if you're dreaming. If anything looks strange, you're probably dreaming. Many people say they are able to wake themselves up when they realize they are dreaming.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I'd ask myself if I was dreaming in my dream and then I would tell myself, "Nope, I'm all good", even though the mirror was swaying and the windows looked out into the void. Apparently I think the abnormal is normal in my dreams.

I believe this is a common problem for older children who will grow out of it, but uncommon as an adult who is fully developed. Also, not thinking about going to the bathroom before bedtime is the last thing you should probably be doing. That has always gotten me into trouble.

You're not alone in having your 'pee dreams.' I've had them in the past and occaissonally still get them - so do many of my friends.

You'll no doubt have noticed that it's always (or nearly always) the same dream - you've mentioned being on the toilet and peeing. Here's the bit you didn't mention - even though in your dream you are urinating, there is something about the process that doesn't feel quite right. And all you have to do is to 'release' something to make it feel right. And you do, and then you wake up feeling that warmth in the bed that quickly turns cold.

At this point you are actually half awake. The pee dream is your subconscious trying to tell you that you need to go to the loo. When you get to this point, tell yourself to wake up! It will be very tempting to 'release' - but resist it. Use that 'not quite right' sensation to realise that it actually isn't right. You may not succeed the few times, but you'll get there.

When the worry was gone and I told him that it was only sheets and nightclothes that could be washed he calmed down and after about a month of the relaxation it started to get better untill he no longer did it love, This I no can also be a medical problem as it says in the link I sent you hope that helps love n hugs MANDABABY xxxxxxxxx I kinda like that xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Hunny,

Try and take the going to the toilet out of your mind before going to bed, Make sure you dont drink anything an hr before you want to sleep, Put some relaxing music on and meditate in your mind tell your self that in your dream you can realise you are dreaming and try if you can to concentrate on being able to wake yourself up as your dreaming this same dream over and over again it is constantly on your mind. Do this meditation before you go to sleep and try not to give up beliving you can do it. Having faith in your abilitys can help with anything you put your mind to hunny, Give this ago for at least a month.

Ill send you a link hunny to show you your not alone as there is alot of info that can help love...

A female reader, deejuliet United States +, writes (7 February 2008):

deejuliet agony auntYou have a condition called anurisis or night time wetting. The very best way to cure this is to get an alarm. It will be a small devise that inserts into or is clipped onto your underwear. When the very first drops of urine start coming out a loud alarm wakes you up startling you into stopping the flow of urine so that you can then go the the bathroom and properly empty your bladder. You are retraining your body in a Pavlovian way, to wake when you need to or to hold it all night. I used the Malem system for my son and it worked beautifully!! I also would recommend the B-dry system. You can find both of them on line if you google them. You can also buy them on ebay or amazon.com.
