reader, anonymous, writes (23 March 2008): You are way too young to be thinking about sex! I waited till i was married (at 22) and i never had to worry about getting pregnant or STDs. Sex isn't a "cool thing" to do to be popular, you need to respect your body. At 14 you're not even fully grown yet. I've had a friend who has used condoms and been on birth control and still gotten pregnant in highschool. it drastically changed her life. Her boyfriend was also just a kid and he obviously didn't stick around long. She can't hang out with friends anymore (her daughter is now 3). She is now a full time mom. as far as your vagina goes, it should be just fine in a few years.
