Question - (30 December 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 30 December 2007)
A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have met this girl a few times, we get along OK, laugh and there is attraction there. We haven't slept together but have kissed and I have been to her house. She is concerned about her appearance, it seems to be holding her back a bit, (she is a little bit overweight,) which does not bother me at all. I think she is just fine! She seems to find it hard to say how she feels, she says she likes me, gave me a christmas present but has never said to me she find me attractive. I find her very cute! do I tell her? The other night she sent me a phone text message after drinking, saying she would really like to be with me. When we spoke on the phone yesterday she went quiet about it. I know there is attraction there but she won't tell me how she feels. Do I tell her I think she is cute? make the first move.. or let things go slowly? We are dating, not in a r/ship yet.

samia rose agony auntthis girl seems to be scared off commitment and being treated badly, explain to her you like the way she looks and you find her attractive. go out for meals and walks and she will slowly become less shy around you as you will gain a friendship. She is hiding her feelings as she is scared of rejection xx
