It is good to see people realising they are not alone with lifes ups and downs. I've had past experience in working with young and old in developing projects that assists them in having more control over their own lives.
This included the setting up of a Youth Club for 14-15 year olds that was managed and run by the young people themselves. Although working with them on a daily basis gave some valuable insights into not only the problems of teenage life in a social environment (as opposed to school or home) but also how even at that young age people invariably respond positively to being given personal responsiblity.
So perhaps there is hope for us all yet. :)
My advice tends to be based on people taking postive action to solve their problems, rather than just encourage folks who are simply canvassing sympathy or fishing for "mates". I have all the time in the world for those seeking real solutions for real problems.But it is worth bearing in mind that genuine relationship difficuilties are more often than not a two-way tango.
